Fat is an empowering anthem that calls out the bigotry, hypocrisy and dimwittedness behind that three letter word. i wrote fat after being called fat several times by people who didn't know me or like me for whatever reason when I was fat at various points in my life. i always found it funny that they always called out the most obvious thing - it didn't take much cleverness so i never gave it much credence despite the fact that I was indeed fat at the time. even though i've since lost the weight and am back to "sample size", I think once you've been fat you always feel that way in your mind. regardless, it's completely irrelevant to who I am. more

An electronic dance/song with a driving beat and catchy chorus that convey strength and perseverance in the face of adversity. I've felt misunderstood my entire life, still do, and I am often perceived in a completely opposing light than my actual nature and character by people that do not know me. I wanted to convey my feelings about gossip and accusations geared to destroy a person because they're different or irreverent. Even though the song is about me personally, I feel like it’s a perfect anthem for trans rights, drag queen legislations, GLBTQIA+ community struggles, and many others whom are misfits or oppressed.
